4-QUINOLINOL OR 4-QUINOLONE? That’s the question

 At Synthelia Organics, we consider that 4-quinolinol core and its derivatives represent an important building block group in construction and development of new pharmaceuticals. This core is present in several commercially available drugs and in others with promising perspectives.

For this reason, Synthelia has set up an in-house program to design and produce diverse 4-quinolinols that can be used both as building blocks and for SAR studies in organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry. As the result of the program, Synthelia is pleased to introduce the new catalog dedicated to the 4-quinolinol derivatives.

 BOSUTINIB (Wyeth/Pfizer), approved for treatment of adult patients with Ph+ chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) with resistance or intolerance to prior therapy and it is now being tested for use in cancer treatment.

 ELVITEGRAVIR (Gilead Sciences) is an integrase inhibitor used to treat HIV infection.

 GALUNISERTIB (Eli Lilly and co.) a potent TGFβ receptor I (TβRI) inhibitor currently in phase II/III trials for several cancer (colorectal carcinoma, myelodysplastic syndromes, and many others).
